1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CoreFare. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether an individual passenger, a ticketing agent, or a transport operator) and CORETECH INNOVATIONS AND SOLUTIONS, INC. ("CORETECH"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the CoreFare Mobility Platform, including websites, mobile apps, hardware terminals, and APIs (the "Services").

By accessing, registering, or utilizing the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of the Services.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create a CoreFare account. Minors may use closed-loop transit cards purchased by parents or legal guardians.
Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. If you claim a discounted fare class (e.g., Student, PWD, Senior Citizen), you must present valid, government-issued identification upon request by transport operators. Falsifying discount eligibility is grounds for immediate account suspension and confiscation of transit cards.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, PINs, and physical transit cards. CORETECH is not liable for unauthorized transactions resulting from lost cards or compromised passwords.

3. Fares, E-Wallets, and Payments

CoreFare provides digital wallet and ticketing solutions. Please note the following financial terms:

Stored Value: Balances loaded onto CoreFare closed-loop cards or mobile wallets are not bank deposits. They do not earn interest and are not insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC).
Non-Transferability: Unless explicitly stated, wallet balances and purchased tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered account holder.
Refunds and Cancellations: CoreFare acts as the technology provider. Ticket cancellations, refunds, and rebooking policies are dictated exclusively by the specific Transport Operator you booked with. CoreFare will facilitate refunds only upon authorization from the Operator.
Convenience Fees: Certain top-up channels, online bookings, or payment gateways may incur convenience fees, which will be transparently displayed prior to checkout.

4. Transport Operator Liability

CoreFare is a technology provider, not a common carrier. We provide the platform connecting passengers with transport operators (bus companies, modern PUV cooperatives, terminal managers). Therefore:

We do not operate the vehicles, employ the drivers, or manage the physical transport schedules.
CORETECH is not liable for trip delays, cancellations, accidents, loss of baggage, injuries, or any damages incurred during your travel.
All claims regarding the physical transport experience must be directed to the respective Transport Operator.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following restricted activities:

Fraud & Tampering: Attempting to hack, clone, reverse-engineer, or physically tamper with CoreFare NFC cards, validators, or point-of-sale terminals.
System Abuse: Using bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to interact with our APIs, harvest data, or hold seat reservations without intent to pay.
Commercial Exploitation: Reselling tickets, acting as an unauthorized booking agent, or sublicensing the CoreFare platform without a formal enterprise agreement.

6. Intellectual Property

The CoreFare platform, including its software, logos, trademarks, UI/UX designs, and proprietary algorithms, is the exclusive property of CORETECH INNOVATIONS AND SOLUTIONS, INC. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app and website for their intended purpose. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. CORETECH makes no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the continuous availability, accuracy, or error-free operation of the platform (e.g., GPS inaccuracies, network downtimes affecting validators).

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, CORETECH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Services.

8. Modifications to the Terms

CORETECH reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email, in-app notifications, or website announcements. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled through amicable negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pasig City, Philippines, waiving any other venue.

2. Use of Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from:

Using the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the platform.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, accounts, or computer systems.
Using automated scripts, scraping tools, or bots to interact with the platform without explicit permission.
Reselling or sublicensing the Services without a formal agreement with CoreFare.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Payments and Ticketing

Tickets, fare loads, and reservations processed through CoreFare are subject to the specific terms and conditions of the respective transport operator. CoreFare acts as a technology facilitator and is not liable for transport delays, cancellations, or service quality provided by operators.

All sales are subject to our refund and cancellation policies, which may vary depending on the transport provider's rules.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, logos, and data provided through the Services are the property of CORETECH INNOVATIONS AND SOLUTIONS, INC. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services for their intended purpose, but you may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CORETECH INNOVATIONS AND SOLUTIONS, INC. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Services, including but not limited to lost profits or data loss.

7. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pasig City, Philippines.
